Elaine received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master in Nursing Education from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Elaine also holds professional designations and certifications in Wound Care. She is the Infection Preventionist at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in the District of Columbia. Elaine began her nursing career since1998 and has over 25 years of experience in the Nursing. Over the years, Elaine gained nursing experience in acute care, home care, long-term care, and psychiatry settings. Elaine’s current position as an Infection Preventionist allows her the opportunity to work with all disciplines in the hospital, lead the effort in infection prevention, ensure the hospital adheres to regulatory guidelines, and develop policies and procedures that are based on best practices.
